Technical information about this website’s accessibility
This website partially meets the requirements of the law on accessibility to digital public services. There are shortcomings described below.
Unreasonably burdensome adjustment
The Swedish Arthroplasty Register invokes exceptions for unreasonably burdensome adaptation, according to § 12 of the law on accessibility to digital public services, for downloadable PDF files.
This is how we tested the website
Manual tests have been carried out to ensure that all functions can be used only with the help of a keyboard and that screen readers can read out the pages correctly. The screen readers that have been used in testing are the Windows screen reader and NVDA, both with English as the language setting.
Automated tests have been done using the built-in accessibility checks found in the Chrome and Firefox browsers. In addition, tests have been carried out using WAVE which is a downloadable extension for Chrome.
The Swedish Arthroplasty Register website is of a model used for several quality registers. The model for the website has been reviewed by Wandi Lundgren, IT technician who has a severe visual impairment and a moderate hearing impairment. He works in the social sustainability department, Region Västra Götaland.
